2012 November Updated the documentation of the MXV Example, revealing the latest tool features and screens
2012 October Enhanced MXV for entering and storing context-sensitive documentation for 'dynamic' XPath addresses when reusing CAC components.
This new feature eliminates the cumbersome need for manual post-modifications of generated schema documentation files by regenerating these without loss of information.
2011 November

Added support for for loose coupling the minor schema versions with backward and forward compatible processing.

Released MXV Productivity Tools enhancements v3.2

2011 January

Developed an MXV plugin which generates a Test Case Matrix for each document schema.

The populated matrix can be used to generate XML instance documents (using third party products) for testing purposes.

2010 October

Released MXV Productivity Tools v3.0:

Added support for MXV NDR 2.1, in line with OASIS UBL NDR 2.1 (*), replacing the prior version MXV NDR 2.0.

Added support for OASIS Genericode 1.0 and OASIS Context Value Association 1.0, replacing the prior draft versions 0.8 of OASIS standards.

Proof-of-concept for MXV-based customisations for Sybase PowerDesigner

MXV Prototype I (based on UBL NDR 1) identifies great potential, but found issues with UN data types, schema versioning, code value validation, business rule validation and tool support. Deployment is deferred until issues are resolved.

2005 March

Started researching W3C XML Schema design standards for enterprise model-driven development of standardised W3C XML Schemas which share and re-use components

(*) UBL NDR 2.1: Please note that as of November 2012 the UBL NDR 2.1 document has not been published yet. At this stage, MXV emulates UBL NDR 2.1. A detailed comparison of UBL NDR 2.1 rules against MXV will be made available once the UBL NDR 2.1 document has been finalised.
